i have a great idea for a wire sculpture that i have to do for my first art assignment. i want to make a wire fish bowl with wire fish inside...the only problem is that i need ideas on how to hold water inside it. To make this question more clear, i have a photo of what the bowl could potentially look like or along these lines (minus the fish) :

(pretend it is the shape of a fish bowl and has an opening in the top)
i'm wanting to find some clear material that i could seal the holes with to enable it to hold liquid without leaking out. my idea ,so far ,was to wrap the wire bowl (once finished) on the outside with tape then brush coats of clear epoxy resin inside the bowl. once dried , i will remove the tape and hope that the holes are plugged (because resin hardens after time) i feel that this would look much better than wrapping wire around a glass fish bowl and adding water.

with my lack of experience, i'm unsure if this will even work, so i need ideas to make this look as realistic as possible. Thanks!!

(i know this is all confusing and jumbled, but it's the best i can explain it, thanks if anyone can really help me!)
