Hi Folks,

I am fatally attracted to anything that is interesting but possibly useless.

This does not do the bank accounts any good.

My mountain bike now has flashing lights, digital speedo/timer thing, siren instead of a bell, etc.

The Sat-Nav, the CD changer, this computer with two routers.
It goes on, but I am not a wealthy bloke with money to waste.

The family are well provided for, and lack little in life, but it occurs to me that I am squandering some of the kids' inheritance on myself, which adds a touch of guilt

I drive a cheap car most of the time, in some sort of redemption mode.

Any thoughts ?

Sure. Indulge yourself here and there, but only buy things from garage sales or rummage sales.
Maybe see a counselor about what this chasing material things has behind it.
