I read meditation was damaging to concentration...?

I mean you can't concentrate on nothing...

What's the idea behind meditation? Because from a Scientists point of view it looks stupid.
@Defiance... Lol... yes but rhythmic deep breathing relaxes muscles, gets more oxygen to brain, and stress is released, it just feels like problems disappear because it FEELS like a "weight" has been lifted... when you are simply experiencing a level lower of stress.
@FunkyBird: I cannot respond with the comment I want because I have yet to finish my thesis on XYZ subject because it relates to your badge flailing egotism.
