...remember what it's called...? it was about a brother and sister who somehow end up in a community of children that live in a place that is always snowy and wintery. i remember that there is something to do with a hunter's cabin, they eat alot of smoked fish jerky and if i remember correctly i believe it's the brother who eventually goes off and finds that there is something wrong with their magical little world and has to come back and convince them that there is a problem. that is really all i remember, and i know it's not alot to go on, but if anyone knows what book i'm talking about please answer, i read it ages ago but remember really liking it and would like to read it again if i can figure this out. thanks everyone
