I quit smoking, and now I want every day to be a buffet?

I recently decided to quit smoking, and I've been doing surprisingly well--- with that. The problem is that food looks better than ever. Even when I'm focusing on activities I enjoy, I really want food. I eat out of hunger, but once I get going, it's really hard to stop.

It takes a lot of self-control to calm these urges and move on with my day. I wish I could cold turkey food, but I obviously have to eat. It is scary to me because I was obese for half my life, and I don't want to go back to that.

I know I relied on cigarettes to ease stress, and I know I did that with food in the past. I believe the key to fully overcoming my addiction(s) is truly caring about myself, but it's not an easy road, and if you guys have ANY tips, they'd be appreciated.
jwp10us, you're a dinghole.
