...laywer? Im 17 years old and got a causal job at a fast food place, like mcdonald. Anyways, I went for 1 day training for couple hours and that was all. They called my up to come in this week but i agree because i thought it would be alright. They called me and made me do training in another place which will take 1 hour by bus to get there. I decided not to attend the training and i wanted to quit my job. I couldn't sleep because i was so scared of going to work.
I didnt tell my manager that i quit my job, i just didnt end up showing up to the fast food place.
Can i Do that?
In the letter i signed, there was nothing about giving two weeks notice. There was one bit about termination of giving 1 hour notice.
What can I do? i didnt attend for two days and they called while i was not home.
Can they charge me or bring the laywers into this? I'm only 17 years old.. this is my first ever causal job. It wont be in my resume.
