i put my blackberry SIM card in an iPhone 4 ?

so i broke my blackberry today and while its away being repaired i have an iPhone that i put my SIM in , the people at the Rogers booth said it would work so i trusted them , for the first hour i traded the sim i was receiving texts and everything worked fine , but now i'm not receiving texts ? is this cause of the swap
