I pushed a cotton swab too far into my ear?

I was just cleaning my ears (and I know you're not supposed to put cotton swabs into your ears, but I needed to get some earwax out) and I pushed it a bit too far in, and now I can't hear properly out of that ear! It sounds like I've got water in my ear but there's nothing in there and it won't go away :( Help?!
