I punch my dashboard airbag on my ford escape.The plastic cover on the top kinda...

...came up like it got loose? No air bag light or anything is on. I tried to put it back in place and its kinda hard. Do you think the airbag will deploy? i dont think it will cause wouldnt i have to like hit the bumpers? How much would it cost to put the plastic cover back into place?. I started to take the top part of it off where the air bag would be and then i started putting it back in but its kinda hard. I really dont think the airbag will come out tho.
 
i had a car that had the dashboard cover warped by the sun and it came up like that too. no problem. not a safety issue. but you might wanna see about getting that one fixed. that cover's there to keep your SRS system form being damaged by outside objects.
