Definitely not the battery. It didn't seem to make much noise when I tried to restart it. I realize there are several things that can cause this to happen (praying it's not the timing belt). Question is...I did notice one odd thing. Before I realized it wasn't the battery, I was going to try and roll backwards and kick start it. When I went to put my foot on the brake, I couldn't depress it all the way, only about an inch or so. Does this give any clue as to why it wouldn't start or is the fact that the brake wouldn't go all the way down a completely unrelated thing?
It's manual.
USA #1 - The shop doesn't open until 8 am tomorrow. I am free to ask any question here I want. I was just curious about the brake thing. And you are welcome for the points.
Thanks for the answers about the brake. That makes sense. : ) As for the noise, it make a pretty quiet effort to start (like an engine starting to turn over, but then nothing). Honestly it was hard to tell because my 3 year old was crying in the back seat that he wanted to go home. Sigh.
