I got ACL surgery 3.5 weeks ago and i was looking at my healing incision just now and i noticed that there was a centimeter long piece of clear string coming out of the lowest pinhole incision. I pulled the string and it came out a little more, so i kept pulling and it ended up being about 2.5 inches of clear plastic thing that i just pulled out of my incision! is that ok? if it was important would i have been able to just pull it out like that? did i totally screw up?
