I phone or helio ocean

Hi does anyone know if the ocean can search the web the same way as the iphone i was at an apple store and was amazed by the true web searching i was able to do on the iphone, can the same be done on the ocean or is it limited? also will verizon come out with the iphone?
 
verizon wont be coming out with the iphone anytime soon. the iphone is gsm, verizon is a cdma carrier. if all you want is web browsing i would go with the iphone, but if texting is your forte then i would go with the ocean. this is just my opinion, i've never used the ocean or iphone for more than a few minutes....I'VE GOT A PEARL!!
 
Any smartphone device will be able to view full blown internet. The iphone just comes in handy because of its big screen... BUT that means that big screen is gonna have to be in your pocket all the damn time.

Honestly I think the iPhone is HUGE. I wouldn't want to carry that around all day everyday. Plus the iPhone on AT&T is only EDGE support, which is seriously a bandwidth hit.

EDGE = 300kbps
3G HSDPA = 3 Mbps

If your on verizon (and wanting to stick with them), then you'll have to buy a phone through them. Nothing in their selection of phones tickled my fancy. Maybe a Motorola Q.

If your wanting to switch to a GSM carrier such as AT&T or T-Mobile, then you can buy any US GSM phone available. HTC has some really nice models.
 
If you want to do web browsing then the Iphone is your phone. The ocean has an ok web browser but the iphones really blows it away. Thing with the iphone is the surfiing is slow unless you hook it up to a wifi network.

I have an ocean and for the most part like it, but there are allot of bugs that need to be worked out
