Last night I was kinda drunk and wanting to go see the Simpsons movie. I looked online and there were tickets for July 27th at 12:15am.
I made this thread http://forums.rabroad.com/showthread.php?p=81534164#post81534164 to make sure that was the showing I needed. OT was it's normal self not giving me a straight answer.
I say fuck it, get the tickets anyway and wait for my buddy to get off of work. We leave around 11:30, get to the theater and there is a fucking line like no other. Buddy gets in line, I go to the machine thingy and pick up tickets. I decide that there is no need for me to wait in line. So I don't. I call friend, tell him to just come in. I walk in, give ticket dude my ticket and I have circumvented the entire line.
Buddy goes in a different way (so different ticket dude) I had my friend the ticket, gives it to ticket dude who says "Uhh. this is for tomorrow. This shows been sold out for hours". I shrug and ask cant we just go in. He shrugs, rips the ticket and we enter theater, only 20 peole in front of us. They'd all been waiting since 8pm. We waited 0 minutes. We got awesome seats.
That was the best part of the Simpsons movie.
Lesson: Don't be sheeple. Sometimes long lines are just for stupid idiots.
Cliffs: Bought tickets to simpsons movie for the wrong day, went on opening night despite being sold out for hours, skipped the entire line and got some of the best seats.
Simpsons movie wasnt that great.
