I own a business and I would like to know if I can hire a CPA by trimester(quarterly)?

I own a business for 5 years and our records are almost the same every year. We have a CPA that he charge per month and I would like to know if is good to find somebody that can charge by quarters. and how much should we pay including payroll?
Our account is a S-Corp.
