I just baught my first dirtbike a month ago, its a Coolster 214s. I kinda regret buying it after reading the reviews now, but whatever im stuck with it right. Since ive owned it a month here is all that has happened.
The Clutch lever broke, I baught a replacement and got it working in 30 minutes.
I was taking the carb apart and the dirtbike kickstand snapped and it fell on me.
all of a sudden after driving 5 feet my engine started sputtering, I took it in and it turned out when it was assembled the valve was 180 degree's off from the piston, fortunitally I didnt seize it.
Since this is my first dirtbike even though I hear its a peice of crap I want to take care of it. I know how to take the carb apart, assemble a clutch line, change oil, clean spark plug. But thats about it. I cant find a manual for this thing either. Does anyone recommend a good dirtbike maintenance/repair book. I definitally cant afford to take it to the shop everytime something goes wrong, its been running great up until I found out it needed a Valve Adjustment after only 4 weeks of open trail riding.
