I own a 02 dodge 1500 5.9 liter and the A/C and heater is not blowing out very

strong even with the fan ? I took it to the dodge house to be looked at they said that a flapper or something like that is broken and I need to replace it of course it has to be done there and it requires about 6 hrs to do this because you have to remove the dash and all. Is it possible to do this myself are do I have to pay the $700.00 to have dodge do it?
 
This is a common problem with dodge. actuator door goes bad and does not allow enough heat. The dash has to be removed to repair, if you are that far might as well do the heater core also.
 
with an r&r that takes that long i would let them do it unless u feel confident enough to do it yourself. i know that $700 hurts but sometimes thats the route that u have to go if u cant do it yourself or get someone to help you
