I dropped a course in 2006 and it left me owing my college over $900, I lost my financial aid for that semester as well. I went to the school in 2008 and requested a payment plan but they said they had already transferred my debt to the dept of education. My problem now is this..I want to re-enroll in the same college and complete what I started I have already been approved for grants and student loans for the spring semester 2011. Will this pay off my balance or will the not even let a student enroll with a balance due regardless. This school is Midlands Technical College if this helps. I have sent them emails regarding and will probably just need to go up there this week and talk with someone but I am anxious and would like a little info beforehand. Thanks!
