I ovulated a lot earlier than normal, is that an indicator of anything?

My cycle varies 28-30 day cycles and I always ovulate between the 13th-16th day. I've been keeping track of ovulation windows with test strips since last august and just noticed that last week I ovulated on day 8-very early! We've been TTC since november and was hoping/blissfully wondering if this might help with conception/implantation.
