...advice re how to get rid? Trying to build website for first time. Using basic HTML code in TextEdit, saved as HTML doc and tried to open in Server, but it shows all the HTML code, as I wrote it in the text document. Does anyone know what I could have done and how I can get it to work?
Below is what I have written in the TextEdit doc:
<html>
<head>
<title>ARTWORK</title>
</head>
<body>
SCULPTURE
</body>
</html>

'html' is in the address bar so as you say.. maybe it's a problem with the server settings.
Do you know how I can sort this out on a mac? I have opened 'network' in 'system preferences' where it lists ethernet, proxies, TCP/IP etc.. but I have no idea where I am to look.. I can see nothing about the default type mime section. I have tried researching on the internet and I have found out that it is a system to identify file types, but I do not how I can find it on my Mac, or how I would use it or configure these settings..
