Please see if you recognise it? It was about a deaf student-a young girl- who could hear her teachers thoughts through her hearing aid. It was fictional though im not sure if it was a short story or an actual book. I think it was a thriller, and the teacher was either a murderer or was thinking of killing someone and then found out she could hear his dark thoughts.
