...counter top...? twice in the same day and it began to swell immediately and also immediately I could feel something poking out (and see it poking out). It hurt horribly, but I went to the dr. a week later and he did an X-ray--he said the X-ray wasn't the best quality but from what he could see it didn't look like I had broken or chipped anything, but if it continued to hurt come back. It doesn't hurt now (it happened about 2 weeks ago) unless I put tons of pressure on it. The weird thing is, now that the swelling has gone down you can still see something slightly poking out and you can feel it clearly when you graze over it. It is directly on the front side of my hip-bone. Also, you can now feel a lump-like knot there, it's like that is what's poking out. The knot is about the size of a bean and it actually even feels like a large bean. It does not hurt really to press down on it. What could this be? Will it ever go away?
I now have a small rolling knot on my hip-bone. I hit it really hard on a granite...
