i noticed that my CD player's light went off but The player plays n my car is

Honda accord 2004? player is working but it's light is not coming what should i do to bring back the light in the player ?
 
i would start with this
if its a detachable face take the face off
next get a q-tip and rubbing alchol and clean the brass looking stip on the back side of the face
and the front of the radio in the dash
sometimes it gets dirty and does not make good contact
