I no im not 2 young its just my parents that no nothing about the teenage world :(?

Ma rents wont let me go out to town with my mates, even during the day. Im 14, I live in Adelaide and i want to go to to Rundle if it helps. They only dont want me to go coz theyr worried about pervs and dodgy people and theyr worried about me getting raped or abducted or watever.
What can i say to them that might convince them otherwise?

and this time could a have a few answerers my age and not from another country telling me im 2 young and actually helping me maybe?

it would help if you went with a really big group of friends, and only went within one shopping centre,
so that if you do get harassed or something there will be plenty of people around to tell about it or witness and help you. if you start off doing this, then maybe your parents would let you walk around the city

try show your maturity around the home by helping your parents with stuff or having conversations with them about school or whatever, they'll feel as if you're sensible and independent and able to make good decisions. they aren't letting you go out to protect you, but if you show that you can protect yourself they may be more lenient.
