I never know what to say when I am given project exercises...?

I've got an interview for a trainee fashion buyer. One of the interview is a group exercise to see how we play as part of a team. The thing is at uni, I'm always the one asking questions about how to do certain tasks within the group, but shows I'm willing to give each task a go. I'm the type of person where if another member of the team gives me a task and they think it works, my reply is OK, I never know how to put my own input in it. I'm the type of person that's like OK whatever, if you reckon it works, I'll go for it. I'm not good at putting my opinion or reviews across when there's a certain project.

The interviewer would want to see how I can put my input on a certain garment and how I handle difficult situations, I'm not good at that, usually, when I'm working in a team based environment, I usually ask my manager instead of using my own initiatives. If I do put my opinions across, and people won't like my idea, I end up going with their point of view rather than mine eventhough I think my idea is better. I need to stop doing that, how can I practice before the interview by putting my views and opinions across rather than going with the flow of everybody else?
