Hi folks. I'm new to the wireless phone world. Bought a MyTouch 4G last week and I really like it. But...I found out today that it doesn't do data with my carrier. Rogers, in Canada (home of the communications oligopoly, but that's another story...). Disappointed!!! More to the point. Any recommendations of a phone similar in speed quality etc? Of course it has to be Android...

If I'm correct and Rogers is similar to ATT, you should look into the Motorola Atrix if you aren't into Modding and the like (the bootloader is locked)

The nexus 1 is a forum favorite because of it being pure Android and having all of the newest operating system updates.
 
I have a Dell Streak through Rogers. It works really well (just a little too big when you have a 20 min call). The other post mentioned the Atrix, that is not supported by Rogers.
