i need your financial advice? should i buy a LCD tv right now?

i'm looking for a new LCD (120hz).. my budget is $1,500 but if i'm going to keep this TV for a few years.. i want to do it right and spend a little extra (don't mind spending 2k or more)

my question is am i in a good financial situation to spend money right now? i always feel guilty spending a large amount of money.. so i just want to make sure.. here are my stats

31 years old / single
no non-mortgage debt
$14,600 emergency savings
$74k in 401k and roth ira combined
 
go for it sounds like you shouldn't have a problem. btw circuit city has great deals for going out of business i got 1500 off a 52" lcd
 
Do It: From my perspective you're doing very well and sitting pretty. I'd say go for it....just remember to get a good sound system to enhance your experience.
