I need urgent help with my acne!

I used to have a very clear skin till i hit 28 which is last year.
since that day and my acne is getting worse and worse.
i have tried all sort of medications and recently (20 days) started Ro Accutane!
My derm told me that i will experience more acne coming out once i use the accutane for at least 4 to 6 weeks but i what happend is flare up around my jaw lines and freaky pimples with white heaRAB started appearing all over my face... now he puts me on steroiRAB (predinsone) saying that it will calm the flare up and ease the irritated skin.
its been 5 days now and i have not seen any imporvement!!
i cant wash my face or touch it from the pain..
i just want to know if this corabination of accutane and cortisone is effective?
would i be able to get rid of my acne and gain my old skin back?!!
i'm not using any lotions or cleansers or anything just a gentle moisturaizer for my face when its so dry and itchy!

The increase in whiteheaRAB where there used to be none, does seem par for the course for some people on accutane as it sort of purges those oil glanRAB. I am very glad to hear your doctor added predisone for your flair. Don't be afraid to contact your dermatologist to discuss your concerns. He/She is working FOR you.

Ok so now im on prednisone and zithromax!!!
Today my derm stopped the accutane since it was making things worse and worse!!! he said that there is some kind of bacteria that is reacting really bad with the accutane causing all this flair up and rash!!
He still wants me to continue the cortisone and the antibiotic for another week befor i see him again!!!
What is now? is this right?? can i suddenly stop the accutane after taking it for 25 days only?!! would the cortisone and antibiotic bring thigs down and help my skin? do i need to do any kind of peeling??
I"m very disperate now!
