I need to write a reference for someone ucas application any ideas?

I have a 26 year old admin assistant who is applying for a university for this September. I have been his boss for 2 years now and need to write a reference for him. As im not his teacher, i don't know about his grades and what he did at school so what other points are best added to the reference?
What is the best way to approach this?
