Ok so we are studying a play called Cosi in english and it is written by Louis Nowra.. And one thing i am confused about is the contention.. what do i need to write in the contention.. What exactly IS a contention? The prompt for the essay if anyone is interested is.. 'Despite the comedy in Cosi, there is an underlying sadness throughout the play.
