I am going to buy a home and need to get home insurance. Well, I found a better insurance company that I want to use and can get a good discount on home insurance if I switch all my autos over. problem is, I was in an accident last month and still have not gotten my car fixed. Check was sent for claim but Im afraid that if ends up being more $$ that my insurance company wont want to pay because i canceled. Can they do that? I figured I was covered during the time of my accident so they have to pay no matter what. What do you think? I close on my home in 4 days and need to switch insurance companies! I have to show proof of 1 year paid insurance before signing papers. ARGHHHHH
