I need to move photos from my mac to my pc permanently.?

We stored all of our photos on a very old mac and now need to move them to my lap top. We can figure out how to get them to a disk.
 
So what's the problem? Save them to disk and transfer.

Or did you mean to say you can't get them on a disk? How old is the Mac? It's usually a drag and drop procedure... ahh, but you don't have an optical drive burner

A flash drive is easy if the old Mac will take it. Just make sure you don't format the flash for the mac. The mac will read a PC flash, but the PC won't read a mac.
