I need to know where to find the color code for my 2001 Ford Taurus SES?

I have a 2001 white Taurus and I have some spots that I want to apply some touch-up paint to. When trying to find what type of white to apply to the car I need to have the color code. I opened up my driver door and looked at the sticker on the side of the door to get the color code. It's not there. Where can I get the color code for my car? Is it possibly in the users manual and if so where? Is there anywhere I can put in my VIN number and it will have the color code information? What are the ways I can go about finding the color code if it's not on the side of the door?
