I need to know what type of system to get for my '02 honda civic. please help?

i wanna put a system in my '02 honda civic. its a 2 door if that matters. i have no idea about what to get or where to start. can anybody please help me on good types of subs, amps and anything you recommend me to get. i still have my original factory radio which i plan on replacing. can anybody give me a rough estimate on how much all this is gonna run me? please and thanks.

ps- i know nothing about systems... i dont wanna go to the store and let them rip me off. any type of advice will help. thanks.
 
if you want subwoofers it sepends if you want one or two, and 10s, 12s, etc, im gonna say for 2 prices, it is pricey, kicker, jbl, memphis audio,mtx, are all top brands, cheaper good brand sups are sony, pioneer, pyle etc. installation for subs may cost from 130-180 and you need an amplifier prices vary, try to buy it in a combo, installation on a radio depends on if i had video a screen etc, you r looking at about 400 plus or minus online you can save sooooooooo much try crutchfield.com or amazon.com for deals, i dont trust ebay i've gotton broken subs before
