I need to know how to check the ignition coil and/or ignition module on an 02 Honda...

...Shadow VT750.? Seems to start and run, but when it gets revved up the ignition starts breaking down. I'm not sure if it is a bad coil, stator, or ignition module. I know the coil is just ohm tested, but i'm not sure of the readings i should be getting. I am not sure how to check the ignition module. All help is appreciated.
 
To be sure of what readings you should get, BUY A REPAIR MANUAL for your bike. It will detail out in pictures and text just how to test, and what those readings should be on each and every electronic part on the bike.
