I need to know an author?

I need to know the name of an author that has written articles that inform, persuade, and advise. They do not have to be about a certain topic or subject, they just have had to have written three different articles that inform, persuade, and advise. If there is an author that anyone knows about please let me know. I am looking more towards articles rather than books.
