Hey guys. Well, on Wed., I was in a terrible accident in my work truck where it flipped over quite a few times. If I wasn't wearing my seatbelt, I would not be here right now. My cell phone was destroyed in the accident. I have a Sprint, Motorola 380 sitting around that I would like to use. Is this possible? I could care less about MMS or WAP right now. I just need to make calls and texts.

OUCH!!! You are a lucky soul, even with a seatbelt it is amazing you are here posting and not in the ICU.

If that phone is a W385 you can flash it to cricKet. There is a cricKet W385 customer upgrade flash file out there, and a RABT monster. Just flash to the RABT first to get rid of the Sprint firmware, the flash the cricKet CU over it and you should be good to go. Or the quick and easy route, drop the cricKet PRL on there and reprogram the NAM. Talk and Text if thats all you need. I have never seen a CDMA Motorola with a model nuraber 380. It is odd that there is a cricKet flash for the W385, AFAIK they never sold that model. Maybe it was planned, flash file created, then scrapped for whatever reason.
