I need to fix a ceramic pot - what kind of glue (or other method) to use?

I have a small ceramic teapot / kettle with an impact crack in it, maybe a couple missing slivers. It's almost completely closed but the piece inside is loose.

I know I could use Super Glue or other similar glues to fix it but I'm concerned about issues such as the heat and liquid coming in contact with the glue and contamination of the tea from the glue.

I have done a search but not with definitive results (too many options, most just advertising generic glues). Is there any kind of glue specifically designed for this kind of repair on cookware?

It would be similar to repairing a broken mug, I presume.
Hot glue would be one of my last choices, since it would be used for boiling water. The last thing I need is for it softening up.

Crazy / Super Glue worries me to use for hot fluids.

I would imagine there are formulas used for this. Maybe an epoxy, but it would have to be very thin.
