I need to dry-start a Jet Ski (1988 Kawasaki 650 SX)?

I know with my old boat there was the attachment for the garden hose that made it so you could start the boat on dry land. Do I need to do the same with an old stand up jet ski, (KAW 650 SX) that i just got, and if so where does it hook up, or can i just start it?
