I need to change doctors for sub

Hello to all. I've been on Suboxone for 21 months. I take 8mg a day. I need to find another doctor because I have moved. Have any of you ever had to do this? What is the process? Can you get an appointment and take the bottle and recorRAB of past prescriptions to show what you've been on? I had to move and I just quit going to the last doctor because I had plenty. Any of you ever had to change doctors? Thanks moo moo

Hi ya, ok you could call your old doctor and ask for a recommendation. I found my doctor with the help of some ad's on this site right here. They have some good advertisements.

Hi, I just sent you a post on the other board. Please read it before going on "suboxone" again. Read my posts under suboxone withdrawl. I just want you to know what I have just gone through. This is just my opinion. I don't want anyone getting upset with me.

What I did was, I talked to people around me seeing which dr has a great rep for being helpful and cares about the treatment of the people under their care. Call that Dr's office and talk to their nurse tell them you are switching dr's because you moved. Your last Dr had you on 8Mg of Suboxone a day because of *give your reason* And that you have all the recorRAB of your past prescriptions. I believe in most states they have you sign a medical release form and they will get your current medical recorRAB from your old dr.
I know how scary it can be to change Dr's and worry about getting your daily meRAB that you need.
