I need the code to embed a sound file on Mozilla Foxfire and Internet Explore?

I need to have wav and mp3 or 4 and midi files on both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Foxfire. Can anyone give me a code that will work on both or how to do both for the same page. You can hear my sound on IE but not Foxfire my primary browser and I am worried that other can't either
