I just received a phone call from a school for a demo lesson that will be in the next few days. The lesson will be for an 8th grade languages arts position in an urban area. This is my first lesson and I really want to do well because I love the school. Could someone please help me with suggestions? I conducted my student teaching in an elementary school, but will be certified through 8th grade, so I can't use any of my lesson plans from elementary school for this demo. Thank you all!
