I need some verification on this kinematics question? (physics)?

1. An object thrown up from a cliff at 10 m/s reaches a velocity of 20 m/s down as it
lands. If the acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/ s , what is the object’s displacement? How long did it take for the object to land from the time it was thrown up?

For displacement.. I used the Big 5 equations
V2^2 = V1^2 + 2ad
400 = 100 + 2(9.8)d
300 = 19.6d
D = 15.306

I dont think thats right lol...

and for time
a = v2 - v1/t
9.8 = 20 - 10 / t
9.8 = 10/t
t = 10/9.8
= 1.02

Someone help me out, if its wrong could you guys provide a solution
Thanks!
