I need some sort of guidance on my further education/career?

Broken Pearls

New member
Ive never been a fond lover of school. I attended it, my teachers said i thrived, and i know i do/have done well, but i dont actually like learning to be honest.

In the Gcse's ive taken so far, i have achieved a's, but i am unsure about attending university when im older, or going to college or sixth form?

I have advantages and disadvantages for both:

Advantages of sixth form:
-I live literally up the street from the building
-Some of my great friends ive made through high school are going
-I will know everyone going (and i get along well with all of them)
-Offers the courses i want to take

Disadvantages of sixth form
-Its an all girls environment, and ive been in an all girls school for 5 years now (I think working with guys would be a good thing for me)
-Doesnt have anywhere nearly as many facilities as college does
-There is a dress code, similar to a uniform, wheras in college you can wear whatever you want.

Advantages of college:
-A fresh start & new friends
-Alot of facilities and courses available

Disadvantages of college:
-Takes about 45 minutes via public transport to get there
-I dont know anyone thats going there

I really hope someone out there read this and can help!
Im also stuck on whether to attend uni or not :/

thanks in advance !

I'm sorry, but this is one of those instances in life where you have to make your own choice; nobody else can make it for you. That's because everybody is different and would therefore assign different weights and priorities to the various advantages and disadvantages that you have listed. Only you can weigh all of these factors on your own personal scales of likes, dislikes and preferences.

Making the hard choices in life-and accepting the consequences of those choices-are two of the major hallmarks of true independence.
