miles on it. ? The transmission just went out and the transmission shop said its usually $1800 to rebuild it. I dont know if I should spend the money on fixing the taurus or just go get another car. I would only be able to spend less than $3000 for another car. If I get the taurus fixed how much longer will it last with routine maintenance? 10 points for best answer.
