I have an 05 wrangler X....according to the book it says I should not go over 55mph in four wheel drive...I don't usually but I was wondering how it affected the vehicle. I would also like to know more about shifting into and out of 4WD.......do you have to slow down if you are going 55 and want to go back to 2WD? Or if you are going 55 or over and want to go into 4WD when you hit ice or snow??
