I need some honest opinions.?

So there's this girl that I have know since last year but I don't know her really good. I have eased dropped on here conversations as she sat behind me and talked pretty loud. She's had 3 bfs in the past year and none lasted more than 1 month. Mostly because she didn't want sex or got fed up with them. They were all players and had "fine bodies" as she would say. It seems she likes players alot which I'm not and guys who r hot which I'm not so much but I'm not ugly. She's going to move schools due to having bad grades but still going to live in the same town. I kinda of want to ask her out yet I want to wait as long as I can. I want to ask her out but I'm afraid of gettin turned down as I have never been turned down n don't know how I would take it.
