When I read your post I immediately thought of a scene, but then I found out it was actually from the Family Guy.
But then I found this:
In DABF16 "The Frying Game" Homer accidentally squishes an endangered screaming caterpillar. When deciding what to do, his devil appears and says to bury it and move on. Then his angel appears, but the devil kills the angel, and Homer listens to the devil.

Hey, Im doing a psychology project and I have a question for a Simpsons expert. Is there an episode of the Simpsons where any character had a situation where they were tempted or were thinking and they had an angel appear on shoulder and a devil on the shoulder? It doesnt matter what the situation was, just that there is an angel and a devil on either shoulder. Thanks a lot. Hopefully someone will be able to help out.
