Okay, so I have some Biology homework for the summer holidays (Sucks xD) and there's this one question we haven't covered at all in the topic... I can't find any help on the internet, because I don't actually know what to search.

Lengths of visking tubing were set up as follows:
A contained 1% starch and amylase;
B contained 1% starch and boiled amylase.
Both were left in water at 30'C for one hour.
They were then placed in beakers of dilute iodine Solution and left for five minutes. Iodine Solution can pass through visking tubing.
a) What colour would you expect to see in each beaker?
b) Explain what happened in beaker A.
ci) Describe a test to prove this explanation.
cii) State the expected results.
d) What appears to be the effect of boiling the amylase?

I have no idea what amylase or visking tubing actually is. :L
