quick question.? I am writing a literary analysis on the poem The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost.

My teacher told me she wanted me to do the basic introduction and conclusion paragraph and then the rest of the essay would look like this..
First Paragraph - Describe the setting where the story takes place.
Second Paragraph- Compare the setting to two different literary genres (poetry, novel, etc.).
Third Paragraph- Explain why you think authors choose a setting in order to support a particular point of view.

I’m just having problems with the second paragraph. I know it sounds really self explanatory but I don’t really understand what they mean.
Do you think you could help me out here?
Maybe give me an example of what they mean. You don’t have to do that though, I don’t want you think im just doing this for answers. I’m not.
I just don’t understand!

I have the BASIC knowledge of what she means.. But…still need some help.
Thanks!

okay 1: what are u comparing the poem to? u could compare tone, technique and content to whatever else. in poems theres more of a dramatic effect and a beat or rythm.are u sure she's not refering to genres in the poem as in tragedy, romance, or gothic?
