I am a Career Technical Instructor and I would like to write my own text-book. Most of the information will be from my experience. However, I may also additional references. I would like to know if I will need permission from the authors to cite their information. Would they be entitled to any royalties? I would appreciate feed-back from someone who has written their own book or text-book. I will first self -publish and then have it published later.
